Like many, due to the pandemic it’s been a while since we have been able to get together and enjoy a Christmas Party. I have my fingers and toes crossed that this year’s will go ahead and that I haven’t jinxed anything by counting my chickens. But the thing I am most looking forward to this festive season is coming together to eat, drink and be merry with my colleagues, which inevitably leads to dancing like an idiot (as this video pays testament to). I had just started at the Whitworth when it was taken, as the questionable facial hair has so elegantly time stamped. Fast forward 8 years and I am sorry to say that my dancing hasn’t improved at all so unsurprisingly my career as a TikTok dance influencer is yet to take off.

So, I guess my vague point amongst my ramblings is whether you are or aren’t able to have a Christmas party this year, I hope you can find a way to be merry and hey; if you’re struggling then at least you can rest assure that your dancing will be better than mine. – Best, Ash
